The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has updated the latest OCCUPATION CEILINGS for the financial year 2014-15 on their website. Kindly refer the below link (table)
The important points included in the list are:
Pro-rated arrangements will apply for the below occupation groups due to high levels of interest from prospective skilled migrants:
1. ICT Business and Systems Analysts (ANZSCO: 2611) includes,
(ICT business Analyst and Systems Analyst)
2. Software and Applications Programmers (ANZSCO: 2613) includes (Analyst Programmer, Developer Programmer and Software engineers)
3. ACCOUNTANTS (ANZSCO : 2211) ( Newly added) includes,
(Accountants, Management Accountants and Taxation accountant)
Occupational ceilings do not apply to, State or Territory Nominated subclasses

A quick glance of occupation ceiling seats:
– Accountants has been reduced to 5478
– IT professionals numbers did not change much.
– Registered Nurses increased to 15042 from 13560
– Auditors increased to 1188
– Early Childhood Teachers have been reduced to 1404
– Secondary School Teachers reduced to 7002
– Chemical and Material engineers remain at the same number 1000,
– Civil Engineering Professionals increased to 2850
– Electrical Engineers reduced to 1332
– Industrial, Mechanical and Production Engineers reduced to 1680
